The Eggers Family Mother Puppers Turned ONE!
Hold onto your party hats, folks, because the first birthday party for River & Tucker’s pups was a total blast! Yep, that’s right—our beloved golden retriever gang hit the big 1-year mark, and we celebrated in style. A massive thank you to Penny for helping me pull together this epic bash, and to Eric and Tiffany for generously offering up their amazing fenced yard for the celebration.
The day kicked off with a puppy-palooza that was nothing short of spectacular. Out of the original 12 furballs, only one couldn’t make it—Gracie. But the rest of the gang was there, wagging tails and soaking up the love. Luna, Tula, Moxie, Benjamin, Murphy, Bjorn, Kane, Cooper, Kwynn, Lucy, and, of course, Millie, were all present and accounted for. They all got along like peanut butter and jelly—except for one who decided to sit this one out.
Eric and Tiffany, the masterminds behind the fantastic venue, are the proud owners of Brainstorm Cellars—a local gem where the wine flows like water. Let’s just say, we drank like fish—err, I mean, we sipped responsibly. 😉
The yard was transformed into a puppy paradise. There were pools for splashing, a tennis ball piñata that met its match in our playful pups, and endless running around. And boy, did those puppies run! They were in full-on Puppy Olympics mode, and it was pure joy to watch them bounce around, having the time of their lives.
We also had a present exchange that would put any human party to shame. Each pup received their own special gift, and the excitement was through the roof as they tore into their presents with all the enthusiasm of a kid on Christmas morning. And the pièce de résistance? Organic cakes—because only the best for our golden gang. The cakes were as delightful as the puppies, and seeing them enjoy their treats was heart-melting.
To capture all the memories, we had the talented Adalynn from Silver Oaks Photography on-site. Her expert eye ensured that every adorable moment was immortalized, leaving us with a treasure trove of photos to look back on.
Bella, the big sister, was also in attendance, making sure her siblings knew who’s boss. Tucker and River, the proud parents, were there too, basking in the joy of seeing their pups all grown up and having a blast.
It was truly the best day ever—a day full of laughter, love, and boundless puppy energy. So here’s a big, happy birthday to Luna, Tula, Moxie, Benjamin, Murphy, Bjorn, Kane, Cooper, Kwynn, Lucy, Millie, and a special shoutout to Gracie, who missed the party but was there in spirit. Born on 6/30/23, you guys have turned one, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate with you.
