The 509 isn’t just orchards, tumbleweeds, and that place where Hanford is. It’s a wild mix of hardworking folks, small businesses fighting to survive, nonprofits making a real impact, and stories that deserve to be told. That’s where The 509 Unfiltered comes in.
I’m diving deep into the heart of Eastern Washington—sometimes in the studio, sometimes out in the field—learning new things, meeting people from all walks of life, and getting the unfiltered truth straight from the source. This isn’t a show about politics (we’ve got enough of that nonsense already). It’s about real people, real perspectives, and how we can actually make a difference right here in our own backyard.
One day, we might be talking to a nonprofit doing incredible work that no one’s heard of. The next, we’re walking through a small-town festival, chatting with the folks who make this place what it is. Maybe we’ll learn a new skill, dig into local history, or shine a light on issues that actually matter. Whatever it is, you can bet it won’t be sugarcoated.
